I am always amazed at how something so simple as a blank piece of paper combined with the lead from a pencil can become such an object d'art! Your use of shadow and light in this drawing leaves me nearly speechless. A Beautiful piece indeed!
Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Estabilizador e Nobreak, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://estabilizador-e-nobreak.blogspot.com. A hug.
jim, kudos on this drawing. i totally agree with what daniel said. i also love the way that all the pencil lines go in one direction vertically. very well done. by the way, what's with that comment from ESTABILIZADOR E NOBREAK (from: april 21, 2008 above)? it isn't even a comment. it sounds like a freakin ad! it's actually the exact same comment (but like i said, not really a comment at all) that appears regarding "frankenstein (unfinished art)" a little lower down on your blog page, but with a different name. you should delete both of them because they have nothing to do with making a comment about your art or your blog and everything to do with advertising. like we need more of that crap.
Thanks for commenting on my Blog Jim. Your compliment measn a lot. I love your work. and your choice of subjects. Classic cinema monsters. Abbot & Costello etc.
It is extremely interesting for me to read the article. Thanks the author for it. I like such themes and anything connected to them. I definitely want to read more on that blog soon.
